About Us

All Island Housing Mediation is led by Beth Gazes. During law school, Beth completed her basic training under Elena Bayrock Sapora focused on facilitative mediation.  After graduation, Beth completed her apprenticeship with the Institute for Mediation and Conflict Resolution, Inc. (IMCR), a community resource providing mediation, arbitration, restorative justice, conflict coaching and anger management services to Bronx County and beyond.  Beth realized the need for affordable mediation in the housing context when joining Long Island’s preeminent community association law firm, becoming well-versed in community association law, landlord-tenant law, the New York State Human Rights Law, and the Fair Housing Act, all in the context of neighbor disputes.

All Island Housing Mediation aims to help disputing neighbors, roommates, and family members  collaboratively work through the issue or issues causing their strife, with an eye toward a feasible and enduring solution that benefits all parties.

Beth prides herself on providing quality and meaningful sessions.  Although an attorney, she isn’t taking sides, and she isn’t demanding law and order. With a keen eye for practicality, Beth’s goal is your goal – a resolution that works for everyone.

When facilitating mediation between parties – whether taking advantage of a restorative, evaluative or other style of facilitation –  Beth leads the parties towards resolution with a commitment to maintaining respect, dignity, transparency, and fairness during the process.  Each participant’s point of view is listened to with an empathetic ear.

Beth is available to facilitate during hours that are convenient for you — day, evening, and weekend hours.
